Linda Alderman and Larisa Vladimirova both share a passion for Reiki and a dedication to sharing it with others. After working together for a number or years on various volunteer Reiki groups in the S.F. Bay Area and at the Little House in Menlo Park, they are now offering Reiki healing sessions and Reiki training classes

at their Reiki Center in Los Altos.

Linda Alderman offers a gentle, heart centered approach to facilitate health, wellness, and personal change in your life. She is a local San Francisco bay area native whose professional background is in the field of healthcare, cellular biology and laboratory medicine.

Linda started exploring yoga and meditation in the 70’s and quickly fell in love with her practice and decided to become certified as a 3HO Kundalini Yoga teacher. She trained with Yogi Bhajan and later studied yoga therapeutic courses with Nischala Devi and Shant Shanti Kaur Khalsa. Linda coordinated the first local conference of yoga and meditation research in the Bay Area. She continues to deepen her study and practice of meditation with Sally Kempton. Linda’s classes aim to facilitate health, balance, peace and connectedness in people’s lives.

Linda’s interest in the healing aspects of yoga expanded into complementary medicine and the field of energy healing, particularly Reiki. She is a Reiki Master in both the Western and Japanese traditions. She received her Usui/Tibetan Reiki Master attunement from William Rand of the International Center for Reiki Training in 2006 and her Usui Reiki Ryoho Shinpiden attunement from Frans Stiene of the International House of Reiki in 2008.

She has been teaching Reiki classes at Stanford University and other local sites. She is also available for private in-home and in-office healing sessions in San Mateo and Santa Clara Counties. She enjoys sharing Reiki with the community as a volunteer with various local organizations and events such as Stanford Cancer Center and Breast Cancer Connections and offers public presentations on the System of Reiki and it’s health benefits.

She has also studied Reiki Tummo, Body Talk Access, Donna Eden’s Energy Medicine, Quantum Touch, and Matrix Energetics. Linda completed the PSYCH-KAdvanced Facilitator Course in 2006 which complements her healing practice as a technique of personal growth and transformation.

Larisa Vladimirova is originally from Kiev, Ukraine and has lived in the U.S. for over 10 years. She holds an M.S. in Chemistry from Kiev State University and worked as a researcher for the Ukrainian Academy of Science.

Due to the ailing health of a family member, she began a quest for holistic complementary healing methods and discovered Reiki. After learning more about Reiki, she fell in love with its positive attributes: the fact that it is effective but noninvasive as well as beneficial for both patient and practitioner, and finally, that it is available to everyone.

In 2004, she studied under the Reiki Master Donna Gaus, who at that time ran the Reiki Clinic of Menlo Park, California. It was here that she learned levels I and II of Reiki, as well as began to work as a Reiki practitioner at the drop-in Reiki Clinic.

In 2009, Larisa completed a yearlong Reiki Mastership program in Usui System of Natural Healing with Reiki Master Terry Attwood. She continued to further her study of Reiki, expanding her knowledge of different types of Reiki systems and methods such as Lightarian Reiki Method of Energy Healing and Komyo Reiki Kai System. She also was trained in Body Talk Access which is another method of energy work.

Larisa's goal was to foster sustainable community health through the establishment of a healing Reiki center where people can not only receive healing sessions but also they can learn to practice Reiki for self healing and healing others.

She provides clients with treatments that give them a sense of integrity, peace and balance. In addition to her private practice Larisa teaches all level Reiki classes (Usui System of Natural Healing) and Lightarian Reiki. She also works as a volunteer Reiki practitioner at the Cancer Center in Stanford Hospital offering Reiki sessions to staff and patients.

Larisa believes that Reiki is an experience of holistic healing, transformation, love, enlightenment, peace and harmony.

She speaks three languages (English, Russian, and Ukrainian), and will be glad to assist those who have difficulties understanding English.
